This minor is designed to provide undergraduate students with a focused sequence of coursework in a sub-field of sociology in which our faculty are exceptionally strong. The minor provides students with a sociological approach to understand societal inequality, and preparation for public sector and research-oriented employment dealing with poverty, family, education, work, and more.
